Recently close friends have fallen out. Please pray that all those involved resolve their conflicts and that unity among volunteers remains strong. Often people come straight out of rehab and go back to their old haunts and start back at square one. I took it out to the street and offered it to a guy on the streets called Chad. He was stunned. He and his friend had just been saying how they had some stuff and would love to have some bread. They found the coincidence remarkable. I saw Chad this week out on the street - "hey remember that bread he said, wasn't that mad? Loads of mad things happened that day" he said. He was upset. They chatted and listened to his story. A nice guy who has hit a bit of a rough time and was sleeping in his car. I've been able to help him out with food and petrol and some equipment and share my faith and hope freely with Sean. He told me when things get tough he pulls out a little book and he showed me a worn pocket gospel in his back pocket - he said this gives me hope. I asked him where he'd got it.
